Although many witches may ask for a familiar that is small in size and one
that can guide them with abilities when I call upon spirit I ask for these
three spirit guides in a particular way that will grant gifts to me. Each of
these animals has special abilities that can provide me sight to see far and
clear like the owl because their vision is acute especially when hunting for
their prey and seeing at night. The Wolfe provides me wisdom and strength as
being the most powerful animal in the northwestern part of the world and
cunning like the coyote to be sharp and ready to protect myself if needed
when dealing with everyday idiots in society and people who are an everyday
problem including in the work environment which is filled with two-legged
parasites. These animals have gifts that humans don't have, but if I can
obtain a taste of their abilities, I feel empowered, which is important when
dealing with the outside world. The great horned owl is found
throughout the Americas, from Canada and Alaska down to the southern tip of
South America. They typically inhabit a wide range of environments,
including forests, deserts, grasslands, and urban areas. They prefer areas
with open spaces for hunting and nearby trees or cliffs for
nesting. Great horned owls are skilled hunters and primarily hunt at
night (nocturnal). They use their excellent hearing and keen eyesight to
locate prey in the dark. Here’s how they typically hunt: Silent Flight: Their wing structure allows for silent flight, enabling them to approach
prey without being heard. Perching and Scanning: They
often perch on a high vantage point, such as a tree branch, where they can
scan the ground for movement. Ambush: Once they spot
prey, they swoop down quickly, using their strong talons to catch and
immobilize it. Diet: Their diet is diverse and
includes small mammals (like rabbits and rodents), birds, reptiles, and even
insects. They can also take down larger prey when necessary.
The Northern Wolfe is a powerful creature with strong resilience and a keen
sharp of being a hunter this is how this powerful creature lives. The
northern wolf, also known as the gray wolf, can be found across a wide range
of habitats in North America, Europe, and Asia. In North America, they are
primarily located in Alaska: A significant population
resides in the northern and interior regions. Canada:
They inhabit many areas, including the boreal forests and
tundra. Northern United States: States like Montana,
Wyoming, and parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin have populations. In
addition, northern wolves are found in parts of Europe and Asia, especially
in countries like Russia, Scandinavia, and the Balkans. They thrive in
various ecosystems, from forests and tundra to mountains and
grasslands. Wolves, particularly northern wolves (gray wolves), are
apex predators with a varied diet which is primarily large ungulates. Here’s
a breakdown of what they hunt and how they do it: Large Ungulates: Their main prey include deer (like white-tailed and mule deer), elk,
moose, and caribou. Smaller Mammals: They also hunt smaller animals, such as rabbits, beavers, and rodents,
especially when larger prey is scarce. Carrion: Wolves will scavenge carrion when available, feeding on the remains of
dead animals. Pack Hunting: Wolves often hunt in packs, which allows them to take down larger prey.
This teamwork enhances their efficiency and success rate. Stalking and Ambushing: Wolves will stalk their prey quietly, using cover and the element of
surprise. They may split up to surround the target before closing
in. Chase: Once they initiate a chase, wolves can run at high speeds (up to 40
miles per hour) for short distances, relying on stamina to tire out their
prey. Biting Strategy: Wolves aim for the throat or hindquarters of their prey to bring it
down. They often work together to pin down larger animals. This combination of social structure and hunting techniques makes wolves
highly effective hunters in their ecosystems!
The coyote, often seen as a symbol of adaptability and resilience, is a
powerful and versatile predator. Coyotes are found throughout North America,
from Alaska to central Mexico, and they inhabit a wide range of environments
including Deserts: They thrive in arid regions where food is available. Grasslands and Prairies: These open areas provide ample hunting opportunities. Forests: Coyotes can also be found in wooded areas, where they utilize cover for
hunting. Urban Areas: Increasingly, coyotes are adapting to suburban and urban environments,
where they find food and shelter. Physical Traits and Hunting Abilities Coyotes are medium-sized canids, typically weighing between 24 to 46
pounds. They are known for their agility, keen senses, and vocal
communication. Their powerful jaws and sharp teeth enable them to hunt
various prey, including rodents, rabbits, and even small deer. Behavior and Diet Coyotes are opportunistic feeders and often hunt alone or in small family
groups. They rely on their speed and cunning to catch prey, and their
adaptability allows them to thrive in diverse habitats, often adjusting
their diet based on the availability of food sources. Coyotes are remarkable survivors, able to coexist with human populations
while maintaining their wild instincts! I share qualities with each one of
these creatures and I ask the spirit whether it is Lucifer or Hekate to
grant me intuition and the same abilities as each of these animals over
time I have grown stronger and feel more empowered. These animals have
special gifts that I want to share or be a part of if I can see far just
as the owl does I will see things others won't. If I can have strength and
wisdom as the Wolfe I can have the ability to handle problems in everyday
life differently and more assertively and cunning like the coyote to
manipulate and maneuver through everyday bullshit when I need it, it
helps. As humans grow older it softens and weakens our mentality and
physical being. Frankly, humans need all the help we can get. It works
because at times my senses are acute it's important to be alert while
going through society. Do you have a familiar you want the spirit to
empower you with?
