Qliphotic Meditations by asenath mason

Qliphotic Meditations is written by Asenath Mason an artist, writer, and Occultist who walks the path of Faustian Tradition. I recently acquired the book and these are my thoughts on it. I found it to be expensive considering its small in size. However, the contents of the book is valuable, explanation of the many spheres on the dark tree, prayers, and passages. Ritual directions of how to get into state and perform various incantations according to the realms and the spirits who nest within each area of the tree. I would like to acknowledge Ms. Mason's courage and strength in choosing to walk such a dark path on her own as a woman. I have no doubt it's beyond mere human curiosity for any person to seek out the forces of nature of our universe. During my short visit down the path of Christian lies I began to question many things as the fables that were told just didn't add up and I found myself seeking other wisdom. Now I have made a choice to walk beside the Green Flame of Witchcraft.

Frankly, I've viewed Christianity and other man-made religions to be the biggest hypocrites. Since I have personally experienced other manifestations of spiritualism it's far too exciting not to explore the other side. I can't commit to just one God and if I do shouldn't the choice be mine, not the the choice being influenced by the white man standing behind the podium. In addition to this, I've received all the confirmation I needed to know I am where I belong. Let me discuss the book, I purchased Qliphotic Meditations to have an understanding of the realms because I found myself attracted to the dark tree. The book is small with a red cover, the paper is brown and lacks quality, as it reminds me of a school paper from grade school, but the contents is very good. As I began reading it occurred to me I need to follow a structure of invoking each spirit on the tree, but this should never be rushed and I believe it's vital to large amount of study and comprehension, just like any education of learning.

You must stay consistent in the hope of gaining knowledge of your own shadow and the dark aspects of the self which most people tend to ignore. Society is to blame for the many oppressions that harbor our minds of how to behave with people and in society. I have a theory that because of our emotions, all of us are guilty of many personalities, not just one, but the main personality is who we are and the other personalities within us are allies and sometimes enemies. It's important to recognize this. As Mason says, each initiation is personal and everyone has to face their own demons, weakness, inhibitions, taboos, fears, fascinations, obsessions, and fantasies". This happens to all those who decide to travel the dark path and explore the Tree of Death or the patron spirit of their choosing.

At some point, you might want to question, why put yourself through spiritual madness? Considering all of us go through so much, as humans to begin with? First it challenges the self and reflecting on mistakes helps us to grow. People can endure a lot,  so to see the world for what it really is and strip the illusions, is important. The more we understand about ourselves lessens the ignorance. My thought is people have so many internal fears and with abuse being a common factor of mistreatment within families and society, our fears are magnified to the point that peace of mind is our salvation which can be hard to find. During my younger years I dealt with many mental barriers, everyone does, but it's up to each person to work through it, if you don't that negative mindset will keep you down. A spiritual awakening could help bring us into the light. As it is our shadow every person must confront to face what we don't like about ourselves. Our true nature of evil and good, of who we really are.

Most occultists never speak of politics. I can't stand them either, but at the same time I can't not listen to them and when I do I only see how rotten and evil the hearts of these humans truly are and that human exploitation is a reason for keeping people in fear and enslaved. The elites sit around thinking of new ways to invent man-made viruses. Human Genocide is justification for profit because the white man just doesn't have enough money. Knowing this may be Lucifer isn't the Devil, maybe it's man, inside every man is another man, imposing abuse and slavery. There is nothing natural about murdering people for monetary gain. Those who are at the top of being worshipped by people in society, keep their egos inflated and hide behind the money believing it will keep them safe. That is the illusion. Those same people will NEVER CONFRONT their ego, they rely on it too much to keep them in power and control the masses while profiting off of human flesh.

This nation of people is too complacent to do anything about creating change against corruption to have freedom. However, when working the tree you will be confronted with yourself and your life will be turned upside down as you face your inner darkness diving into each sphere. You will find some amazing images and rituals with a direct understanding of how to approach this work. You can create your own sigils or use the ones given in the book. The directions are easy to follow with a clear concise direction of the rituals. It is helpful to understand ceremonial magic, build relationships with Goetia, and lastly study the realms and the inner workings of what they represent. Otherwise, good luck because once you open the door and face darkness you will not be prepared for what you will encounter, stay true to the path as everything is a test. Your life will change and with that your eyes will be open.
