Worship is a dedication to the Supreme Witch, in my case it's Hekate. Your place of worship should be personal and sacred. A place no will know about, no one will ever trespass on. The importance of this sacred area is because of the energy that vibrates and all it's essence, which should only carry the scent and energy of the Witch and her Supreme Goddess. Every witch has a familiar so make sure to bring your trusty friend with you. The familiar will to carry the energy and essences of the Witch and is known as a protector and guardian of the Witch. Trust is important and if you tell those you think are your friends or other witches that you have a secret place of worship they could betray that trust at anytime for any reason you might not see coming, which in turn could poison the ground. This is another reason to keep your place of worship sacred. The Witches Lair should never be shared with others. Not everyone agrees with "Witchcraft", frankly many might condemn you for it. There are far too many hypocrites in the world judging all those who they fear. Remember people will always group together because of insecurities and the need for approval from others, which is called "like minded". I believe the strength and power is in those who are not afraid to walk their path alone and find self empowerment, these witches are the most powerful. A real witch will never need the approval of someone else. Not even a coven, as they too can betray you and many have. It is up to you, as you are an adult, learning usually comes from mistakes we make. So choose well and if you can't find a physical dwelling place be patient in time it will come. In the meantime use your mind, find a quite place of comfort and shut the world out, light incense and meditate. No one can intrude on your secret thoughts. Journal your thoughts to reflect on at a later time, any visions that come to you is important to write them down.

Worship doesn't have to be a long verbal prayer unless you want it to be. There is no set amount of time, what matters is how you feel in your heart and mind, your beliefs, and strength will provide the foundation of walking a path you created for yourself. Every morning and night set intentions for yourself, prayers to mother earth, gratitude for all that you have in your life and goals. Some people think setting goals is pointless, so I've read, I disagree. No one can tell you what is good for you and what is not. This is your life and your path as a Witch. The importance of worship is to be consistent if you can, daily. Spirit hears you, spirit knows every thought you have and how you might respond to events in your life. Believe me spirit knows everything about you and everything to come, all that you deny and all that you confront. Every action that happens with all humans, this universe and all the intelligence in it, is watching us all the time. This intelligence comes from the universe and has been here long before humans have walked this earth and will remain here long after each race has vanished. This universe has a consciousness and is apart of us and we are a part of the whole. The universe is alive and spirit knows, Hekate to will know what your desires are and feelings towards yourself and other people. You can't lie about as spirit will know that too, if you do. This sacred place you create for yourself has no judgment, or reflection of criticism so be good to yourself. It's okay to let go and just be you, life is easier when you are, which is something most people rarely are!

Once you get into the habit of Worship, the Meditation comes easier and with that, you find yourself wanting the silence to concentrate your thoughts without all the outside noise. You will find yourself appreciating more and more silence as it helps to structure the mind. Then you soon realize all that outside noise is unnecessary and useless chatter is pointless. It doesn't matter what your beliefs are or what Gods you choose to worship if any at all. Everyday people have lost sight of many things including their own identity and their true purpose. Young people are clueless all together and it takes a life time to grow up. For those young people who have no choice but to grow up fast due to any unstable family structure I believe appreciate life on earth more than the average kid living at home, spoiled and ungrateful. Either way, the point of Meditation is for self discipline to the mind so you can train yourself to obtain what you want in your life, because the human existence is a mere glimpse. Man will NEVER control time and you soon realize how fast it goes by. To discipline the mind in thinking a certain way is to break away from "enslavement" on this earthly realm and from the material world. The illusions are what most people hold on to seeing society as the only reality they have come to believe matters. It doesn't, its just that, a lie and illusions. Once your mind is trained, is when the real power kicks in. If you are a Capricorn, you will understand what I mean. Capricorns hold a great deal of power with Death and too Curse others is not hard. Hekate will begin to show you what people are really made of and how evil they can be through dreams. Hekate has shown me what white men do in their spare time. The world is an evil place and so are people and their actions prove it. Witchcraft is a tool to protect you from that evil and outsiders. Use it well, but educate yourself with reading and studying. Be a constructive reader it is important, no one can look down on an educated witch.

There is no formula for Meditation other that "self discipline and consistency". I can only use myself as an example, once you choose to open the door, you will experience a floodgate of spirits. You must not allow yourself to be seduced by their corruption. You need to sense and recognize the difference between the parasitic and divine essence. When you begin a structure of prayer of your primary God, your relationship begins and then you will notice symbols, dreams, behavior from others that seem rude or obnoxious (usually this means its time for a change). Things will become more transparent that spirit is speaking to you. The dreams can be the most profound communication with the Gods. I have received many dreams of warnings, dreams have shown me of white mans evil, strangers communicate to me with messages. You will encounter many things, do not fear instead listen. You will find your self cutting ties of those you don't need in your life and anything that doesn't serve you. Lighter is better and as you go on in your journey you will feel yourself changing, seeing the world through a different lens. Slowly the illusions and lies of society will surface, as Transformation takes place, you will realize how much you need to discontent yourself with society and most of the population. They serve you no purpose on your journey.
